Today TNOiK is a non-profit and non-political association first of all disseminating knowledge of professional management. We co-operate actively with many Polish organisations such as Polish Federation of Engineering Associations NOT, 500 Club, Polish Chamber of Commerce, Polish Economic Society, Accountants Association in Poland, Polish Lawyers Association.
        Presently TNOiK concentrates on five areas of activity.

        Initiation and supervision of this activity belongs to Main Scientific Board and scientific boards of regional branches. TNOiK arranges and participates in conferences, seminars, symposia, lectures and research and development. Society also organises Prof. Karol Adamiecki Contest of Scientific TNOiK Prizes for the best theoretical dissertations and implementations in the field of organisation and management. For eminent scientific output and contribution in development of organisation and management sciences the TNOiK bestows the Society highest decoration of honour - The Karol Adamiecki Medal.

        TNOiK arranges regional, national and international courses, seminaries, workshops and conferences. TNOiK has qualified staff of lecturers and trainers: scientists, consultants and eminent practitioners. Among companies using our services is HEROS SA, Huta Częstochowa, ASC Chrysler Co. Ltd etc. In the 1997/1998 Warsaw Business Journal ranking in category of training companies TNOiK is on the second position. The Society is also a cofounder of Warsaw Management School (Graduate and Postgraduate School).

        TNOiK regional branches are active in the consulting connected with rationalisation of organisational structures and processes, financial, economical, organisational and marketing analysis. They also draw up the strategy of development of the companies, restructuring, privatisation, property valuation and execute special tasks. Among companies using our services are HUTA im. T. Sendzimira SA, Huta Częstochowa and CHEMOBUDOWA KRAKÓW SA.

        Each year TNOiK publishes a few dozen book titles and also brochures, lecture notes, conference proceedings with total volume of over 500,000. Our publications concern organisation and management, marketing, finances, taxes and Polish and European Union law. Among significant titles are "Strasbourg ruling - set of verdicts of European Tribunal of Human Rights 1990-1997", "Holding" and "Consulting". Since 1926 TNOiK is the publisher of a monthly magazine "Organisation Review".

        Since many years TNOiK is an active member of the World Management Council (CIOS), the European Management Association (CECIOS) and EFMD. We also co-operate with The Institute of Management Foundation (Great Britain) and RKW (Germany), as well as the organisations from Central Europe such as MteSZ (Hungary), Baltic Management Foundation (Lithuania) and Society for Strategic Management, Innovations and Entrepreneurship (Czech Republic). At the same time TNOiK branches actively co-operate with regional organisations, especially with German ones. Besides, TNOiK takes part in adapting programs of the European Union such as, Phare, Tacis and Leonardo da Vinci.
